Well this being my first trip to the Gorge for a concert had it's ups and downs.... The Concert and staff were GREAT!!! I will be back for sure, we had a once in a life time blast with my wife brother and his date that we will never forget. the down side is my wife dropped her camera some where between the truck and the hotel (only got out one other spot and we checked there) so if anyone reads this and has found a Canon SX200IS camera there is a REWARD for the return of the camera if found... Thank you!! Last Sunday I encountered terrible customer service in three ways. It has been about five years since I had attended a concert at the Gorge. My wife and I invited one of my friends who attends two or three concerts a year. I inquired about the "General Rules" which we downloaded from the web site. We paid close attention to the rules: We went through the first screening and were approved to go to the ticket scanner. At that point a supervisory staff member came forward and would not let us go in. He told me that our small six pack cooler with four 8 oz. unopened water bottles, blueberries and sandwiches in clear plastic bags. All of this was according to your published rules which say: "No large, hard-shelled coolers or ice chests." The supervisor said that actually means, "No hard shell coolers or ice chests." He said, "The comma shouldn't be in the rule. (totally meaningless to this HS English teacher) No hard shell coolers have been allowed for 14 years." If that is true I would say that you have...
Are the Terrace sites made just for RVs? I have heard they are all gravel and no grass. |
